Where do I begin?
Firstly, I never in my wildest dreams thought that I’d write a blog. Or if I did, that it would be about my training habits when it comes to triathlon. Honestly, even just writing something semi-technical is a bit daunting; the space is just so vast and varied.
It’s also incredibly overpopulated. It seems like every tech head has their own page; so why not cram one more in? Well, I wanted to share my story and bring those of you who may not be so technical on the journey with me – from having literally Linux experience to passing the Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator exam (and a lot of other side-quests along the way.)
There are a few outcomes I am seeking for my audience: To entertain, to educate, but mostly to comfort those who – like me – have been thrown into the deep end of a tech career and are a bit overwhelmed by the myriad of sources of information out there.
So, I guess sit back, grab a cuppa and enjoy the ride – and let me know what you think, or what you would like to know more about! I look forward to sharing my adventures with you all.
See you next time for my first ‘official’ blog post.
Cheers,
Shep.
